Target tracking technology is a widely used technology with specific applications in both civil and military fields.Along with social and technological progress,the electromagnetic characteristics of radar detection environment become more and more complex,which makes radar receive more clutter interference.To improve the tracking effect in clutter environment is an important direction to improve the target tracking method,which is of practical significance.This paper analyzes and studies the characteristics of radar data in clutter environment,focuses on the application prospects and shortcomings of multi-hypothesis target tracking technology in clutter environment,and proposes an improved multi-hypothesis target tracking method in a targeted manner.The main contents of this paper include the following:1.Briefly introduces the practical significance of target tracking technology,as well as the development and progress made by domestic and foreign scholars in target tracking and multi-hypothesis target tracking methods;introduces the common tracking techniques and filtering techniques applied in the field of radar target tracking,and introduces their principles and applications;discusses the basic processing process and its connotations possessed by the radar target tracking system,and adds some key techniques and methods applied in the The basic processing process and its connotation are discussed,and some key techniques and methods applied in the processing process are introduced.2.The characteristics of dense echoes in radar detection data due to clutter environment are analyzed and studied,and what challenges and difficulties are faced by the multi-hypothesis target tracking method under such circumstances.The problems of rapid expansion of hypothesis set and rapid increase of computational complexity under dense echo conditions are analyzed,and an improved Master-Servants Mode Multiple Hypothesis Tracking(MSM-MHT)method is proposed based on the analysis.1)The improved multiple hypothesis target tracking method modifies the relationship between hypothetical trajectories into a master-servant relationship and improves the hypothesis generation model.2)The use of the proposed constrained K correlation method in conjunction with the use of the proposed constrained K correlation method to aid in the K-optimal generation of hypotheses.3)hypotheses are formed using motion model parameters that do not rely on a priori distribution experience to form quality evaluation weights for the purpose of controlling hypothesis creation and deletion.(4)The use of progressive "Close up" to optimize the tracking of the main hypothesis trajectory to improve tracking accuracy.3.With using real radar data and simulation radar data,validated the improved multi-hypothesis target tracking method proposed in this paper,which controls the hypothesis set expansion,reduces the computational complexity,and ensures better tracking accuracy,proving its effectiveness and improvement compared to the multi-hypothesis target tracking method.
