With the development of 5G technology,big data processing,Internet of Things and other technologies,There are many new requirements for array sky new pattern.The traditional array antenna design is to change the radiation characteristics of the array antenna by adjusting the excitation amplitude,phase,number of elements,and element spacing of the array elements to meet engineering needs.However,However,the four main factors that affect antenna shaping are variable and non-linear,and it is difficult to accurately describe the influence of the antenna radiation pattern using traditional mathematical synthesis methods.Considering this,some intelligent optimization algorithms such as genetic algorithm,ant colony optimization algorithm,bee colony algorithm and so on,are widely used in the optimization design of array antennas to make up for the shortcomings of traditional mathematical synthesis methods.The water cycle algorithm(WCA)started late and is currently not widely used in the field of array antennas,but the application of the water cycle algorithm in other engineering fields has achieved good results.This thesis applies the water cycle algorithm to the array antenna pattern synthesis,and embeds it into the software developed by Sichuan Zhongce Microge Technology Co.,Ltd.Mainly for phased array antenna design wizard to carry out research work.This software can effectively solve the problems of commercial CAD software that cannot be parameterized and large-scale sample parallel optimization work.At the same time,it can also help users significantly improve design efficiency,reduce workload,and improve design.Performance indicators,the specific work is as follows:(1)Tested the representative traditional Chebyshev synthesis method,Fourier synthesis method,and Taylor synthesis method in engineering practice,introduced the principle,process,and steps of genetic algorithm and water cycle algorithm.Compared with genetic algorithm,water cycle algorithm Fast convergence speed and short optimization time.(2)Apply the water cycle algorithm to the pattern synthesis of the array antenna.Through the Chebyshev type,Fourier type pattern synthesis,HFSS pair dipole antenna array test,and planar array pattern synthesis test,it is found that the water cycle algorithm is all The optimal solution can be obtained,indicating that the water cycle algorithm can be applied to the antenna pattern synthesis problem.Compared with the above methods,the convergence speed,accuracy and optimization time of the water cycle algorithm are more ideal.(3)Finally,the tested water cycle algorithm and genetic algorithm are used as alternative algorithms for electromagnetic simulation optimization of unit antennas and phased array antenna electromagnetic simulation optimization in the antenna design wizard.At the same time,several traditional array synthesis methods and array grid topology types are used,Unit antenna type,etc.are used as options in the design guide for users to construct different forms of array antennas.
