In recent years,as an important parameter for monitoring stress and internal conditions,torsion has been widely concerned by scholars at home and abroad.Among them,compared with electrical and magnetic torsion sensors,fiber torsion sensors have the advantages of simple structure,easy preparation,high sensitivity and strong anti-electromagnetic interference ability.They are widely used in outdoor safety detection and bridge monitoring and other fields.Based on the analysis and summary of the research status of seven-core fiber sensors with different structures at home and abroad,this paper uses seven-core fiber as the sensing unit to prepare two seven-core fiber microcavity sensors with different structures.Two aspects have carried out in-depth research on its torsion characteristics.The main content is included as follows:Firstly,the working principle of the seven-core fiber microcavity structure sensor is researched,and then the geometric model of the seven-core fiber is established,and its transmission mode is analyzed and studied in depth.Secondly,a seven-core fiber microcavity structure sensor is designed and prepared,the preparation process of the sensor is studied.The influence of the length of seven-core fiber on the transmission spectrum of different sensors is analyzed,and the transmission mode is explored in detail.Thirdly,the torsion characteristics of the type I microcavity sensors are mainly studied,and the torsion experiment platform is built,and the torsion characteristics of the seven-core fiber microcavity sensors with different lengths in the torsion range of0°?360° are explored.Theoretical simulation has determined the sensitivity of sensors with different lengths,and error research is conducted.Finally,the torsion characteristics of the type II microcavity sensor are mainly studied,and the torsion characteristics of seven-core fiber microcavity sensors with different lengths in clockwise and counterclockwise directions are analyzed.Theoretical simulation has determined the sensitivity of sensors with different lengths,and experimental research is conducted.
