The development of electronic vacuum devices has a history of nearly 100 years.Both in the modern information society and national defense play an important role.Due to the growth in demand for electrical vacuum devices in recent years,a new type of electric vacuum device began to research and develop in a new stage.Computer numerical simulation technology can not only solve some problems which are difficult for theoretical derivation and experiment,but also reduce human and material resources costs,and shorten the whole research and development cycle.Because the particle simulation method in numerical simulation technology can simulate physical science problems which are not limited by geometric structure and are not clear in the theoretical research stage,it has been gradually applied in recent years.Based on the research background,this paper carries out the research on Fast PIC simulation of new electric vacuum device.Including 220 GHz Folded Waveguide TWT,52 GHz and 220 GHz staggered double vane TWT design research and verification.A ladder-type input and output coupler is designed for the 220 GHz staggered double vane.The main work is as follows:1.This paper introduces the current situation of electric vacuum devices and the necessity of the development of new electric vacuum devices.Introduce the numerical simulation technology and describe the simulation process of new electric vacuum devices.The application of particle simulation method and the development of particle simulation software are investigated.2.Design and research of 220 GHz folded waveguide TWT.This study contains three steps: The first step is theoretical analysis,the high frequency structure is designed by CST,and the structural parameters are optimized;The second step is to design the transmission characteristics by using the microwave simulation module of BUMBLEBEE 3D;The last step is design the interaction by BUMBLEBEE 3D,and verify its correctness by CST Particle Studio.3.The design of 52 GHz and 220 GHz staggered double vane TWT is studied.It also contains three steps: The first step is design high-frequency structure by using CST and optimize parameters;The second step uses BUMBLEBEE 3D to design the transmission characteristics,including the design of the input and output coupler,and compare it with CST Microwave Studio;The last step is design the interaction by BUMBLEBEE 3D,and verify its correctness by CST Particle Studio.
