In order to fulfill the needs of physical layer security of wireless mobile communication in the future,multiple input multiple output(MIMO)is a key enabler of the wireless transmission technology,that is required to not only improve the data rate,but also ensure the information security.New MIMO technologies,such as directional modulation(DM)and spatial index modulation(SIM),have emerged in recent years,which can improve the transmission rate while enhancing the physical layer security,in addition,artificial noise(AN)is also a classic method to achieve secure transmission in MIMO physical layer.In this thesis,a series of physical layer security algorithms based on the new MIMO transmission technology mentioned above are proposed,the theoretical bit error rate(BER)and the secrecy rate(SR)are revealed,and the performance advantages are verified by computer simulation.The structure of this thesis is introduced as follows:In Chapter 1,the emerging MIMO physical layer security technologies is summarized,the research status of each technology is introduced,the security problems that they are facing is identified,and the main work and architecture of this thesis are described.In Chapter 2,the spatial and directional modulation scheme with scrambling(SDM-S)is introduced,including the system model and the transmitter digital transmission architecture,and in the presence of direction angle estimation error(AEE),further through theoretical derivation,the average BER and SR performance of SDM-S is revealed,and the derivation results are simulated and verified.In Chapter 3,a directional modulation with distributed receiver selection(DM-DRS)is proposed,its system model,the beam forming design and signal emission and receiving process are discussed,and the average BER and SR performance of the proposed new algorithm are further revealed through theoretical derivation,at the same time,through the simulation verification,the DM-DRS is capable of ensuring information security is proved,and with the aid of distributed subset index combination,the transmission rate can be increased.In Chapter 4,two new MIMO secure communication methods based on artificial noise are proposed: On the one hand,the new method of artificial noise aided spatial and directional modulation(SDM-AN)in MIMO system can improve the average BER and SR is proved by theoretical analysis and computer simulation;On the other hand,the method of artificial noise aided vector perturbation(VP-AN)nonlinear precoding can improve the power efficiency of the transmitter and the security of the MIMO system is discussed.In Chapter 5,this thesis is summarized and the future research direction and work plan of MIMO technology based on physical layer security are given.
