With the in-depth and research in related fields,the requirements for instrument parameters are becoming more and more stringent.On the one hand,it is reflected in the high-precision,high-resolution and highly programmable characteristics of pulse parameters.On the other hand,higher requirements are put forward for multi-channel pulse synchronization.The research of this thesis is based on pulse signal synthesis,design a multi-channel synchronous pulse synthesis module,mainly including the following aspects:(1)Synthesis of pulse signalPulse synthesis: In-depth research on pulse synthesis related technologies,using edge extraction digital pulse synthesis technology based on relative delay.The signal is fanned out into two channels,and an edge extraction and synthesis circuit built with the flip-flop as the core is designed.The clock terminal and the reset terminal of the flip-flop extract the edges of the two signals respectively to realize the synthesis of pulses.Precise timing control: In pulse synthesis,precise timing control technology is needed to control the relative delay of the two signals.Therefore,a delay circuit combining digital delay and analog delay is designed to achieve picosecond resolution delay.in addition,Precision control technology realizes the delay between channels and trigger signal adjustment.Precise timing control realizes 1?20ns pulse width adjustment with optimal 1ps resolution,and 0-10 s variable delay between channels with optimal 10 ps resolution.(2)Multi-channel synchronous triggerSynchronization between channels in the module: Analyze the factors affecting multi-channel synchronization according to the pulse synthesis scheme.Starting from within the FPGA,discuss the influence of internal signal transmission conversion and system design factors on the synchronization accuracy,study the minimum probability of module synchronization errors and the corresponding solutions,and achieve an internal synchronization accuracy index better than ±(100ps+0.00001%Channel-Delay).Multi-channel synchronization between modules: Starting from the system clock and trigger source,discuss the key synchronization factors including signal jitter,trigger metastable interval,clock frequency,trigger signal trigger edge time,etc.,which affect the multi-channel synchronization accuracy between modules,and design synchronization trigger circuit,adjusts the phase relationship between the system clock and the trigger signal through precision control technology,reduces the probability of synchronization errors between modules,improves system stability,and designs calibration compensation and precision control circuits to achieve multi-channel synchronization signal output.The inter-module synchronization accuracy index is better than ±(200ps+0.00001%Channel-Delay).Through the research and analysis of pulse synthesis technology,precise timing control technology and multi-channel synchronization trigger technology,the module design and synchronization realization are completed,and the expected basic parameters of the pulse and synchronization accuracy are obtained.
