Extracting multi-material interface is the basic work in the fields of 3D data field visualization,reverse engineering,and three-dimensional reconstruction.The current method of extracting the interface is mostly based on the traditional isosurface method.When extracting the interface of a multi-material object with more than three materials or more,the interface cannot be extracted at the same time,and the topological relationship between the interfaces cannot be preserved.For this reason,this article studies the interface extraction method for multi-material objects.The main work is summarized as follows:(1)A method for highlighting the demarcation points of multi-material is implemented.First,the original data is denoised,then a Gaussian weight matrix is obtained.The weight matrix is used to enhance the gray value of each point,so as to reduce the influence of the gray value of its neighboring point,achieving the purpose of highlighting the interface points.(2)A method for extracting a single interface,represented by a set of points,based on the minimum circumscribed sphere contraction is given.First,give the model's minimum circumscribed ball and deploy a reasonable set of spherical points,then use the connection direction of the point on the sphere and the center of the ball as the constraint,then the point on the sphere moves,and during this process,collision detection is performed,when the spherical point encounters the interface or the center point,it stops moving.In this way,the final position of the spherical point result is the point set of the interface to be extracted.(3)Give a method of extracting multiple interface.This algorithm focuses on the interface thickness and boundary surface self-shielding problem.By marking the contraction state of the spherical point,the outer boundary and inner boundary of the interface with uneven thickness are automatically detected,and the state of the detected outer boundary and inner boundary is detected,iteratively shrinks the spherical points,and all set of interface points for multi-material objects are obtained by iterative contraction.The content of this article not only enriches the method of extracting the interface of multi-material objects,but also plays a good supporting role in the fields of medicine,geological exploration and other applications.
