Multi-function radar system needs to complete various detection tasks for different targets.The environment of the target is complex and changeable.The real target is often drowned in the background of clutter and noise,and the target has an uncertain maneuvering state.Advanced radar data processing technology is needed to effectively suppress clutter and achieve stable tracking of maneuvering targets.In this paper,a data processing software is designed according to the characteristics of multi-function radar.Firstly,the estimation theory and linear Kalman filter method in radar data processing are analyzed,and compared with the extended Kalman filter and unscented Kalman filter in nonlinear system by Matlab simulation.Secondly,the common maneuvering target tracking methods are studied,and the different maneuvering tracks of targets are simulated by interacting multiple models.Next,the waveform parameter design and airspace coverage for low-altitude targets,sea-surface targets,and ground targets in multi-function mode are studied.The key problems of radar data processing,such as point preprocessing,point condensation,clutter map,correlation gate,dynamic partition,track initiation and track correlation,are studied and simulated.The track initiation adopts the modified logic method based on m/n criterion,and the tracking interconnection between single target and multi-target in track correlation is studied,the global nearest neighbor method or suboptimal probabilistic data association algorithm can be selected according to the strength of clutter density under the actual radar working environment.Finally,in order to meet the design of project,the multi-function radar data processing software is implemented by using C language on Windows platform.It introduces the key data structure and function interface,complete the software debugging and give the final running results of the software.The in-field simulation method and a large amount of external field test data prove that the data processing software can well perform the tasks of clutter suppression,single target tracking,multi-target tracking,maneuvering target tracking,improving radar accuracy and multi-function mode.The performance of the data processing software is verified,which shows that the content of this paper has a good application prospects and practicality.
