As subjects develop rapidly,volume of related information and literature has witnessed exponential growth.Researchers need to obtain a systematic domain knowledge map to effectively and timely deal with massive data,so as to extract effective information efficiently and address core knowledge accurately.At present,construction of knowledge map is mainly based on bibliometrics.Generally,the process performs analysis of statistical characteristics of discipline knowledge and conducts information mining based on terms.On the other hand,natural language processing technology,as a novel method,mainly deals with information extraction of massive literature.In this paper,disciplinary knowledge map is established based on natural language processing technology and machine learning,combining literature content mining and Bibliometrics analysis.Application case is performed to construct Tribology knowledge map.Meanwhile,domain knowledge mapping software system is established.Main works of the paper are as followed:(1)Data mining of massive literature is performed based on the classification algorithm of machine learning and natural language processing technology including text representation and text categorization.Discipline sub-fileds is systematically and comprehensively sorted out;(2)A novel method is proposed,which covers information recognition,data acquisition,knowledge fusion and knowledge application.(3)Process of natural language processing technology is simplified by integrating machine learning model.It is proved that the optimized method could effectively address the classification of research literature.(4)A software system for the construction of domain knowledge mapping is established.The software system is highly open-sourced,interpretable.Users can customize the scheme according to own demands and generate visualized analysis report.(5)Discipline analysis is conducted for tribology based on NLP and bibliometrics.Tribology knowledge map is constructed and visualized analysis report is generated with the software system.
