College students,as the main force of the development of the new era and the frontier group of promoting social progress,are facing the severe problem of low Student Engagement.This problem will directly affect the quality of talent training in colleges and universities.Therefore,in view of the fact that the quality of talent training in local colleges and universities needs to be improved,it is very urgent and important to study the undergraduate study investment and its promotion in local colleges and universities.Based on the CCSS questionnaire which quantifies the learning input index,this thesis carries out the following three research work:Firstly,this thesis makes an empirical study on a comprehensive local university Y university,and concludes that the Y university and the national university are basically consistent in the process of running a school.The overall performance is that the students and teachers have higher interactive scores,active cooperative,academic challenges,learning level,educational experience richness and campus environment support.And there are significant differences in the level of learning input in Y universities in gender and grade.Secondly,this thesis uses the typical clustering algorithm-the K-Means algorithm to cluster the learning input level of Y college students from the whole,gender,grade three angles,each divided into higher,medium,low,poor four grades.The overall performance is that the students with poor learning input level are the majority.The gender is that the proportion of boys in the poor level of learning input is greater than that of girls.The level of learning input in grade 2 is relatively poor.Finally,this thesis explores the influence mechanism of learning input on educational harvest,and divides educational harvest into three dimensions: knowledge,ability and value harvest.The sub-dimension of educational harvest is explored from three levels: comprehensive evaluation index,educational process diagnosis index and learning diagnosis index.The results showed that the influence coefficient of learning input on ability gain was higher than that of knowledge gain and value gain.Y University is a comprehensive local college,which is representative of the related research of undergraduate students engagement in Y University.The results of data analysis in this study can provide a reference for colleges and universities to improve the educational reform of student engagement.
