Nowadays,with the rapid development of mobile internet,the fifth generation mobile communication network(5G)has been officially put into commercial use.As the only channel code that has been proved to achieve the Shannon limit theoretically,the Polar code is naturally chosen as the control channel code in the 5G e MBB scenario.The excellent performance of the Polar code is mainly reflected in the long code,as the longer the code length,the more its polarization effect.However,in practical applications,the limited code length usually restricts its decoding performance.Therefore,in this thesis,we focuses on improving the Polar code's decoding performance.We firstly introduce the encoding and decoding algorithms of RS code and Polar code,then we propose to improve the Polar code's decoding performance by optimizing the Polar code decoding algorithm,constructing the RS-Polar interleaved concatenation system,and the RS-Polar interleaved concatenation relay coded cooperative system based on the Plotkin structure.The main research contents and contributions of the thesis are as follows:(1)As a non-binary code,RS code is adopted as the outer code in the proposed the Polar code cascaded system in this paper.Therefore,this thesis firstly introduces the coding and decoding algorithms of RS code,and then we present the proposed relay coded cooperation system based on extended RS codes.Specifically,An extended RS code encoding scheme with check bits and a joint node decoding scheme based on threshold selection are proposed and elaborated in detail.Furthermore,the proposed coded cooperation system is incorporated into the Multi-Input Multi-Output(MIMO)system.In order to verify the superiority of the proposed system,simulation experiments on MATLAB is performed.The simulation results show that the MIMO extended RS code relay coded cooperation system greatly improves the decoding performance compared to the point-to-point transmission scheme of RS code.(2)In terms of the optimization of Polar code's decoding algorithm,this thesis studies the Successive Cancellation(SC)decoding algorithm as well as two other optimized algorithms:Successive Cancellation List(SCL)decoding algorithm and Cyclic-Redundancy-Check Aided Successive Cancellation List(CA-SCL)decoding algorithm.To date,most researchers study the Polar code decoding algorithm in AWGN channel.In contrast,this thesis explores the equivalent methods for selecting the information bit set in the Rayleigh fading channel.Extensive MATLAB simulation experiments are performed to compare the performance of different Polar code decoding algorithms in AWGN and Rayleigh fading channels,and with different parameters.The aforementioned decoding algorithms and the maximum likelihood(ML)decoding algorithm are further compared in terms of complexity and performance.(3)For single-link transmission,this thesis proposed an RS-Polar interleaved concatenation system,and the decoding performance of the Polar code are significantly improved by changing the structure of the code.Specifically,a block interleaver is introduced on the basis of a simple serial concatenation scheme of RS code and Polar code.By this means,the system's ability to resist continuous burst errors is significantly enhanced.Finally,the performance of the RS-Polar interleaved concatenation system is also verified by extensive simulation experiments.We further study the effect of the error correction capability of the outer-code RS code on the performance of the RS-Polar interlaced cascade coding system.(4)In relay communication scenarios,there are few coding schemes that are effective to improve the performance of Polar code decoding in fading channel.To further optimize the performance of Polar codes in fading channels,this thesis proposes the RS-Polar interleaved concatenation relay coded cooperation scheme for the first time.We construct Polar code based on Plotkin structure for the first time,and proposes a new Polar code relay coded cooperation scheme based on this structure.To date,the existing coded cooperation system with Plotkin structure simply split the Polar code into two parts and then transmit its partial codeword.Instead,this thesis optimizes its structure and use the Plotkin structure to transmit the check bits of part of the codeword.As a result,the reliability of some weak sub-channels of the Polar code is improved with the block code check at the destination node,and alleviate the problem of the nonuniform sub-channel reliability of the Polar code at the same time.Moreover,with the proposed RS-Polar interleaved concatenation system,a new coded cooperation system based on Plotkin structure is further constructed.This system can not only obtain diversity gain through distributed coding,but also use the interleaved concatenation structure of two codewords to combat the issue of Continuous burst errors,so that the decoding performance of the system is largely improved.Finally,this thesis performs MATLAB simulation experiments to compare the aforementioned Polar code relay coded cooperation schemes and relay coded cooperation scheme with interleaved concatenation system.The simulation results demonstrate that,in the experiment settings of this paper,the proposed Plotkin structure based RS-Polar interleaved concatenation coded cooperation system achieves the best performance.
