This brief studies the quantitative robust control problem for uncertain discrete-time systems,by using Lyapunov stability theory to discuss the robust stability of system. The development history and research status of quantitative feedback problem in control systems are introduced and the prerequisite knowledge are described. The main contents include:1.The problem of the quantized feedback control problem for uncertain discrete-time systems with polyhedral uncertainties is discussed.A novel two-step design strategy with on-line updating of the quantizer s dynamic parameter is proposed to guarantee the prescribed H_?performance attenuation level for the quantized closed-loop system. The design strategy allows the controlled output to include the input control signal and the external disturbance. The design condition for the feedback controller and the quantizer s parameter is given based on the linear matrix inequality technique. Finally, simulation on the two-mass system is provided to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results.2.The problem of the feedback guaranteed cost control problem for a class of uncertain discrete-time systems with input quantization. The input signal will be quantized by a dynamic quantizer before it is transmitted from the controller to the system under digital communication channels.First,a design method of the feedback control for the quantized closed-loop system is given to attain the same guaranteed cost performance as the one without signal quantization. Then,by introducing some useful auxiliary scalars, the dynamic parameter of the quantizer is also designed effectively so that the desired performance level can be achieved. Finally, simulation on the inverted pendulum system is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results.
