The fast-paced social life leads to the fragmentation of people's time.Mobile terminals,represented by smart phones,play a more important role in interpersonal life,and the form of recording at any time is closer to the needs of users.With the popularity of video sharing websites,short videos,as a new way to record life and share information,have gradually become the main form for netizens to obtain information,entertainment and social contact.Vlog is a video-based blog with a casual,conversational video format or style.As the latest form of short video in recent years,it has set off a wave of communication in China,affecting and changing the user's aesthetics and viewing habits,and bringing a new visual impact and experience.The growing Vlog user group characteristics provides a good platform and broad space for the development of Vlog.Exploring Vlog user group characteristics helps to better understand the rules of user communication on video sharing websites,and also helps video website operators to understand their users' interest characteristics and information exchanges,and to identify and maintain these users in a targeted manner.In this paper,Vlog users are taken as the research object,and the Vlog user group characteristics are researched and analyzed.First,the relevant theoretical knowledge applied in the research is introduced,including social identity theory and social network theory and IUE.At the same time,the origin,development and classification of Vlog are combed,and the user types,sharing purposes and user composition of Vlog are summarized.After that,the Vlog user characteristics of video sharing platform bilibili are analyzed by case analysis method,and the research is carried out from two aspects:Vlogger and Vlog visitor.Using the content analysis method,by analyzing the basic information of bloggers,the number and length of videos,video types and topics,release time and frequency,the Vlogger user group characteristics are studied.Using SPSS23.0 software for quantitative analysis,by analyzing the correlation between the type of video and the amount of play,barrage,likes,coins,favorites,and retweets in the Vlog visitor user behavior,the Vlog visitor user group characteristics are researched.And social network analysis method is used to analyze the interaction between Vlog users.After analysis and investigation,it is concluded that different types of Vlog users have group behavior characteristics that are not owned by individuals.Behavioral characteristics analyzed in accordance with social identity theory and social network theory and IUE include:the behavior characteristics of Vlogger are that Vlogger' activity is related to gender and level,the number of fans and video positioning are related to the type of Vlogger,Vloggers are highly motivated to create videos,focusing on life-related content and originality,different video types affect the frequency of Vloggers publishing videos,the Vlogger group is characterized by weaker interaction and greater mobility.Vlog Visitor behavior characteristics mainly include,from a correlation point of view,there are significant differences in Vlog visitor behavior data such as the number of plays,the number of barrage,the number of likes,the number of coins,the number of favorites,and the number of reposts.There is a significant positive correlation between these six items of Vlog visitor behavior data.At the same time,for each type of Vlog,in addition to the five types of Vlog visitor behavior data such as digital,dance,music,film and television,and entertainment,various types of internal Vlog visitor behavior data of all types show positive correlation.It can be concluded that in the process of viewing Vlog,Vlog visitors'actions such as clicking,sending a barrage,liking coins,collecting,and sending comments are interrelated and affect each other.At the same time,for different Vlog types,there are significant differences in the types of barrage,likes,and comments sent by Vlog visitors,and the participation behavior of Vlog visitors is also affected by specific video content.Finally,this study studies the network relationship characteristics of Vlog user groups.Based on the social network theory,focusing on the analysis of Vloggers' mutual attention to the network structure,it is found that the members in the network are distantly connected,the interaction frequency between members is low,Vloggers are different from Vlog visitors,and they are more independent in information exchange with groups,and have a single focus.Based on the case study,in this article,the basic characteristics of Vlog users in China are summarized,and the significance of user behavior habits for further optimization and development of Vlog,enhancing the stickiness of user groups,and increasing the value of Vlog utilization is analyzed.And on this basis,some business strategies and feasibility suggestions for the development of Vlog are put forward.
