The traditional experimental teaching mode is affected by the constraint of time and space,limited equipment resources and so on.The teaching effect of traditional experimental teaching mode is poor and inconvenient.With the development of information technology,simulation experiment technology is widely used in universities.Simulation experiments have the advantages of low cost,simple maintenance,freedom from time and place constraints,scalability,and repeatability under extreme conditions.In this paper,aiming at the shortcomings and defects in the traditional experimental teaching model,an intelligent control simulation experiment platform based on ball and beam system is proposed and established.This paper uses the Lagrange equation to carry out detailed mathematical modeling analysis of ball and beam system,and analyzes the nonlinear factors and controllability of the ball and beam system.This paper designs a classic PID control method,as well as intelligent control methods such as fuzzy control and neural network control,for the control of the ball and beam system.In the simulation experiment platform,a control system library is established which includes various control methods such as classic control and intelligent control.In order to make the simulation effect more intuitive and realistic,this paper uses Open GL technology to design and develop a three-dimensional animation model of the ball and beam system.In the simulation experiment platform,the model is used to demonstrate the simulation of the ball and beam system in real time and simulate the real ball and beam system device.In order to solve students' lack of guidance in the experiment process,this paper designs and implements a parameter recommendation function based on the K-nearest neighbor algorithm,which is used to assist students in parameter tuning when controller parameters are not set properly.In addition,theoretical learning and testing functions,such as system modeling and intelligent control methods,are added to the platform to facilitate students' theoretical knowledge inquiry during the experiment process,and they can test students' mastery of intelligent control theory knowledge.This paper uses MATLAB and VC++ mixed programming to realize the development of simulation experiment platform.The intelligent control simulation experiment platform based on ball and beam system can overcome the problems of limited resources,class time,and space constraints in the traditional experimental teaching mode.Students can carry out experimental operations of intelligent control courses at any time and place.
