Under the stable progress of science and technology in China,industrial robots have been widely used to realize the high speed and full automation of industrial production.With the improvement of production efficiency,the inspection,classification and placement of products become significant to strengthen the production efficiency.Therefore,the design of a high-precision and high-efficiency material detection,classification and placement system is particularly vital.Based on the Huashu industrial robot operation adjustment appraisal platform of the Intelligent Manufacturing Training Center in Xingtai Technician College,this paper introduced the significance of the thesis,the development process and trend of industrial robots and vision systems,the composition of the PLC-based material detection,classification and placement system.It also studied the theoretical knowledge used in the system,and designed the overall control plan of the system,as well as various modules constituting the system.The system hardware design was completed in accordance with the system design scheme.The TIA Portal software was used to complete the design of software and touch screen.The teach pendant was used for the software design of the industrial robot control modules,and the visual inspection software Hsotbot was used for the settings of the visual inspection.To make the industrial robot complete the operation of material grabbing,transportation and placement more stably at a higher speed,the trajectory of the industrial robot was optimized using the optimized fifth-order polynomial S-curve algorithm.It was verified through Matlab software simulation that the algorithm can effectively improve the speed and acceleration of the industrial robot and shorten the time to perform tasks.Finally,the system was debugged to ensure that the system can be operated safely and reliably.
