With the progress of the communications industry and the universal of electronic products,high-quality and high-utilization signal becomes very necessary.At present,the shortage of low-frequency resources has caused the working frequency to continue to rise,power amplifier(PA)as an important part of signal processing,there are higher requirements for broadband and efficiency in design.In order to enhance the performance,this article starts from the class-F and class-J modes and analyzes related theories of matching circuit,using step impedance resonator(SIR),carrying out related research and design on broadband hybrid matching circuit.Based on the current development background and summarizes the key points of broadband,hybrid power amplifier and matching circuit topology.The main arrangements and innovative contributions are as follows.First of all,the traditional class F power amplifier precision harmonic control network has limitations on bandwidth,in order to achieve high efficiency under broadband,the key point is to expand the impedance range.Using the harmonic impedance characteristics of class F/J power amplifiers,a multi-frequency point hybrid matching circuit design scheme is proposed,including matching design,bias circuit,stability analysis,etc.The hybrid output match structure is used to control high-order harmonics to improve circuit complexity while increasing working bandwidth and efficiency.The design results show that the output power of this PA is 40-42 dBm and a drain efficiency of 65%-71% is achieved from 1 to 2.8 GHz.Secondly,consider the limitation of harmonic matching circuit structure by the 1/4 wavelength open microstrip line.This paper proposes a hybrid matching circuit based on the SIR structure,which has an increased degree of design freedom compared to the traditional 1/4 wavelength line.It has more excellent broadband characteristics,at the same time,some traditional open-circuit microstrip lines are retained to ensure the efficiency of the power amplifier,and the same multi-frequency design and implementation method is adopted.Analysis of the results shows that in the 1-3.8 GHz,the efficiency can be greater than 60%,the output power can reach 39.6-41 dBm.It can be seen from the above-mentioned actual measurement results that this topic starts from the traditional power amplifier and proposes a hybrid power amplifier and structural design scheme.It is intended to meet the multi-standard working requirements.The main research objects are working bandwidth and saturation efficiency,the implementation method adopted is a multi-frequency point matching design.The research results show that the hybrid matching circuit structure design can enhance the wideband and efficiency indicators of the power amplifier,which provides a certain technical reference for the wideband application of radio frequency front-end.
