In the future non-terrestrial network, the non-ground equipment with sufficient computing and communication capacity will serve as the base station directly for the users. It will change the architecture and operation mechanism of the traditional satellite network to a large extent and make it more flexible. However, denial of service(DoS)attack may become a potential security threat to such powerful non-terrestrial network nodes, and it needs to be defended in the access weak authentication. The existing defense mechanism is mainly aimed at DOS attacks on traditional ground nodes, without considering the particularity of attacks on non-terrestrial network nodes. In addition, how to effectively reduce the access delay of non-terrestrial network is still a key problem that has not been solved when it is subjected to DoS attacks of different intensities. This paper first studied the development trend and research status of non-terrestrial network, analyzes its security problem and the necessity of DoS attack defense.Secondly,in view of the characteristics of limited satellite resources, the defense strategy for non-terrestrial network DoS attack is studied.Combined with client puzzle protocol and load balancing technology,an anti-DoS attack algorithm which dynamically adjusts the difficulty of the puzzle and the proportion of traffic allocation is proposed.Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can effectively resist DoS attacks and reduce the user access delay by about 40%.Finally,we study the complex scenario where multi-satellite nodes are simultaneously attacked by DoS attack, and propose a joint defense mechanism based on dynamic resource management, load balancing and client puzzle. The simulation results show that the defense mechanism can reduce the user access delay by about 20%,which verifies that the proposed scheme has certain advantages in resisting DoS attack and reducing the user access delay.
