The distributed optical fiber sensing system based on BOTDA has the characteristics of simple structure,small volume and adapting to harsh environment,and can realize long-distance,low-cost and high-precision temperature and strain information measurement.It has great practical engineering application value.This paper is a part of the National Natural Science Foundation Project optical fiber Brillouin sensor.This paper introduces the principle of distributed optical fiber sensing system based on BOTDA,and focuses on the system design,schematic design,PCB design and hardware debugging of pump pulse light source.Based on the analysis of Brillouin scattering in optical fiber and the principle of BOTDA system,through the analysis of the system architecture of optical fiber Brillouin sensor,the hardware optical structure and hardware circuit structure of pump light source are determined.Then,the selection of each optical device is determined,and the schematic diagram and PCB layout and wiring are designed in detail.This paper focuses on the hardware design of the pump light source of optical fiber Brillouin sensor.The hardware is composed of polarization controller,high-speed optical switch,EDFA,temperature control and optical attenuator modules.These modules are configured,monitored and controlled by MCU.This paper analyzes and demonstrates each module in detail,realizes a more reasonable scheme and tests.Finally,the paper summarizes the work done and the main problems to be solved,and puts forward the research focus in the future.
