A Location Privacy-Preserving Method Based On Query Range Cover-Up For LBS

Location Based Service(LBS)has been widely used in various fields of industry and becomes an important part of people's daily life.However,while LBS brings convenience to people,its server is becoming more and more unreliable,causing serious problems of users' location privacy security.This thesis proposes to construct "masking range" to protect the real query range involved in the user' location service requests so as to protect users' location privacy security.First,this thesis files the LBS location privacy preserving framework based on the client.The basic idea is: based on the client,a new request is generated for the location service request submitted by the user(in which,the query range of the user is replaced by a well-designed "masking range"),making it difficult for the untrusted server to know the query location of the user.It neither changes the practicality of LBS nor affects the accuracy of LBS.Secondly,the LBS location privacy model is defined,and the constraints of the query range generated by the client for the user's query range construction are formally described.In addition,the model considers the constraints between of the query locations,which makes it difficult for the attacker to analyze the user location even if he has mastered the user query rules and the complete request sequence.Finally,based on the framework model mentioned above,the LBS-oriented user location privacy preserving algorithm is designed and implemented.The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by theoretical analysis and experimental evaluation.On the premise of not damaging the practicability and accuracy of LBS,the security of user s' location privacy on the untrusted server is ensured.The study of this thesis is a new attempt to the problems related to the privacy preserving of location-based services.It realizes a LBS oriented effective user location privacy preserving method,and ensures the security of location privacy and the high efficiency of location services without damaging the actual availability of LBS and the accuracy of services.
