Waveguide gratings have been widely studied and applied in communication,signal processing,light source,sensing and so on.The response spectra of a waveguide grating includes amplitude spectrum and phase spectrum,which reflects the optical and structural characteristics of the waveguide device.This feature plays an important role in the analysis of grating characteristics.With the development of waveguide grating technology,more and more demands are made on its functionality.In order to obtain a waveguide grating with the ideal reflection characteristics or time-delay dispersion characteristics,it is often necessary to design and optimize them by reconstruction.In order to achieve highly precise reconstruction,it is necessary to study the error characteristics of reconstruction data to improve the accuracy of required data and reconstruction.This research group proposed an error analysis method based on the Monte Carlo principle,which can analyze large amounts of data and multipoint-to-multipoint mapping transform,and the analysis accuracy will become higher and higher with the increase of the number of samples.The main work of this paper is based on the low coherence interference principle of waveguide device holographic spectrum measurement system established in our laboratory,theoretically analyzed and simulated the error source of the system.Firstly,the method of obtaining reconstructed data of waveguide grating,including the information of amplitude spectrum and phase spectrum,is introduced.Then the method of reconstruction is introduced and the two major error sources in the process of reconstruction--quantization error source and position error source are analyzed.According to the principle of holographic response spectrum measurement and analysis system based on the Monte Carlo method is established,and the simulation was deduced the required data standards needed for the position error model and simulation of the interpolation algorithm,and analyzes the quantitative error sources in the overlay and the position error source amplitude spectrum and phase spectrum of error distribution,and the influence of phase transitions of error distribution.Based on the error characteristics of the above analysis,in accordance with the different requirement of different AD converter digits and how to control the movement of the electric displacement platform,can improve the precision of data acquisition and promotes the precise reconstruction of waveguide grating,for accurate measurement of low coherence holographic spectrum and the accurate reconstruction of waveguide grating structure parameters of important basis.
