At present, visible light communication has gradually been regarded as an effective solution to solve the bottleneck of radio frequency spectrum resources, but because its research focuses mostly on point-to-point communication, the usage scenarios are very limited.Visible light communication networking,as a specific application research of visible light communication, has a wide range of application scenarios and great research value by virtue of the many advantages of visible light transmission. However, since there is no complete or reliable set of networking protocols for visible light communication networking at present, many researches on management and control technologies cannot be advanced, making it stay in the stage of theoretical exploration. In response to the above-mentioned problems, this paper participates in the design of a bidirectional visible light communication networking system, and based on this system, completes the simulation and experimental verification of the time-slot-based multiple access control protocol; In addition, this paper also aims at the needs of visible light communication networking network management, respectively designs and implements the topology discovery mechanism and network management system applied to visible light communication networking. The main research work done in this paper is as follows:(1)This paper participates in the design of a bidirectional visible light communication networking system which uses visible light communication links for both uplink and downlink, selects a suitable network topology, and completes the networking system architecture design and MAC layer functional module design, which provides basic conditions for the research on the management and control technology of visible light communication networking.(2)Based on the design of above-mentioned networking system, this paper also proposes a time-slot-based multiple access control protocol to solve the full-duplex communication problem and the multi-user access problem. In addition, the program design of the access process, data transmission process, key mechanisms and system parameters are explained in detail. Finally, the relationship between system parameters and system performance indicators is analyzed through simulation, and the feasibility verification of the protocol is completed by using the networking experiment platform.(3)On the basis of the research of bidirectional visible light communication networking system, this paper proposes a topology discovery mechanism applied to it.In this paper, the research focuses on timely sensing of the topology changes of the networking and obtaining the topology information, and completes the detailed design of the topology discovery mechanism. In addition,in view of the application requirements of the networking,a simulation platform of the networking system with one hundred terminals is built. Finally, simulations prove the effectiveness of the topology discovery mechanism, and evaluate the impact of the mechanism on the performance of the networking system in two application scenarios.(4)In view of the visual management and control requirements of visible light communication networking, this paper comprehensively analyzes the network management requirements of the networking system. And according to the requirements, the project design of the web-based visible light communication networking network management system is completed, including the design of overall architecture, functional module and database table, etc. Finally, the equivalent experiment verifies the function of the network management system for the visualized centralized management and control of the managed equipment, which provides a guarantee for the normal, reliable and efficient operation of the entire system.
