With the rapid development of image processing technology,more and more application scenarios have gradually improved requirements for moving target detection technology.The previous detection method of image data acquisition plus back-end processor is slightly insufficient,and FPGA with high-speed parallel processing capability has greater advantages in image processing and hardware acceleration.Aiming at the high real-time and accuracy required in target detection scenarios,this paper studies the moving target detection technology based on FPGA in a static background,and designs a moving target detection system based on the inter-frame difference algorithm,which improves the target detection speed and optimizes the test results.The research content mainly includes the following three aspects:(1)In the early stage,image processing algorithms such as target detection,edge detection and morphological processing were mainly studied.The processing performance of three mainstream moving target detection algorithms is analyzed and compared by simulation methods,and the inter-frame difference algorithm is selected for hardware migration based on the hardware structure characteristics of FPGA.Aiming at the deficiencies of the detection algorithm,Sobel edge detection and image opening processing methods are used to improve the detection effect,and the rationality is demonstrated through simulation.(2)Research the specific implementation architecture of moving target detection and related algorithms in FPGA.The hardware design architecture of the inter-frame difference algorithm based on the SDRAM mask signal is proposed,which reduces the on-chip resource occupancy and storage space,and reduces the timing alignment of adjacent frames.At the same time,the Sobel operator's ability to detect oblique side edge points is optimized,and the data processing bit width in the image opening operation is reduced.(3)Design the hardware implementation scheme of the moving target detection system based on FPGA.Use the hierarchical design method to do Verilog design and simulation test for each functional module,and finally test the system function.In the static detection background,the system can quickly detect moving targets in real time and display a clearer target form,which has certain practical value in high real-time application scenarios such as security,industrial control,and military.
