Laser ranging has significant advantages in terms of measurement accuracy,speed,and range.The single-photon lidar has a measuring distance of more than 15 km and is widely used in aerospace,navigation and guidance,and autonomous driving.In this paper,a single-photon receiving system is designed based on the single-photon laser ranging method.With the transmitter,it can achieve target ranging within 20 km.The main research contents are as follows:(1)According to the research target of ranging from 1 to 20 km and resolution of 0.6m,the single-photon ranging method based on pseudo-random code is selected to complete the overall scheme design of single-photon ranging lidar,and the laser is determined according to the measurement distance and resolution requirements.Band and pulse signal frequency,select the appropriate APD type,and complete the APD selection.(2)In order to complete the single-photon reception and achieve the ranging goal,the principle design of the single-photon lidar receiving system has been completed,including60?85V(Resolution 0.195V)adjustable bias voltage circuit,500MHz(10Vp-p)sinusoidal gated quenching circuit,500 MHz differential output APD output signal shaping circuit,temperature control module,power supply module.Determine the reverse bias voltage range and temperature control range according to the APD model and parameters,complete the stepup circuit,temperature control module device selection and circuit design;According to the ranging target analysis,the 500 MHz pulse frequency is required to achieve the 0.6m ranging resolution.Determine the quenching circuit and shaping circuit chip selection and complete the circuit design according to the distance frequency;design the power module according to the power supply requirements of the receiving system circuit and the power supply requirements of other radar systems to provide a clean and stable power supply for the entire single-photon radar system.(3)Verify the design of each circuit principle through simulation or calculation,convert the circuit schematic diagram into a real object,complete the printed circuit board design of each module,and ensure the high current path carrying capacity and the integrity of the transmission signal.Replace the two filters with 100 MHz system filters to form a 100 MHz system principle prototype.Finally,after testing each module,the modules are connected and integrated to construct a prototype of the 100 MHz radar overall system principle.The 100 MHz radar system was tested,and the ranging distance reached 20 km with a resolution of 3m.Through the 100 MHz system principle prototype,the 500 MHz single-photon receiving system designed in the article has a maximum detection distance of 20 km and a ranging resolution of 0.6m.
