With the rapid development of science and technology today,5G communication technology has become a research hotspot on a global scale.Microstrip reconfigurable antennas have attracted attention from all walks of life because of their advantages of miniaturization,intelligence,integration and multi-function.This paper designs a frequency-reconfigurable 5G microstrip antenna,a mixed frequency and radiation pattern reconfigurable 5G microstrip antenna.The specific work is as follows:(1)Design of frequency reconfigurable 5G microstrip antenna.The first method is to change the antenna radiation structure,and the PIN diode controls the connection and disconnection of the antenna main radiation patch and the additional patch,to realize the operator's 5G downlink communication frequency band 3.3-3.6GHz,4.8-5.0GHz and WIFI work Frequency band 2.4GHz,and then complete the reconstruction of different operating frequencies.The second method is to add a filter structure,select different feed paths to achieve frequency reconfiguration,and add two different filter structures of circular ring type and multi-pole half-ring type based on realizing the ultra-wideband frequency band 3.1-10.6 GHz.By controlling the bias voltage at both ends of the PIN diode,the antenna can freely switch between the three operating frequency bands of the operator's 5G downlink communication frequency band 3.3-3.6GHz,4.8-5.0GHz and the ultra-wideband frequency band 3.1-10.6GHz.(2)Mixing frequency and radiation pattern can reconfigurable 5G microstrip antenna design.The first method is to first change the surface current of the radiator by the PIN diode to achieve two different radiation directions in the working frequency band 4.8-5.0GHz;then add a reflective metal plate at the lower end of the antenna to achieve dual-frequency 4.8-5.0GHz and 2.4GHz Working characteristics,the surface current of the radiator is changed by the PIN diode again to realize the reconstruction of the radiation direction on the dual-frequency band.The second method is to add a pair of "L"-shaped parasitic structures on the back of the monopole radiating antenna through a PIN diode.The antenna has two different radiation directions in the working frequency band of 4.8-5.0GHz;then in the microstrip antenna on the front,add a PIN diode to change the current length of the monopole antenna,and realize the free switching between the three working frequency bands of the operator's 5G downlink communication frequency band 4.8-5.0GHz,3.3-3.6GHz and WIFI frequency 2.4GHz.There are two different radiation directions on each working frequency band.The above four different 5G microstrip reconfigurable antennas are all reconfigurable using MA4AGBL912 PIN diodes.The measurement results of the physical antennas all meet the design requirements and are suitable for smart homes,mobile terminals,wireless remote sensing and other fields.
