With the development of information technology,video conference has become an important part of our daily life.In particular,the epidemic in 2020 has greatly expanded the market for video conference products.It can break people's geographical restrictions and bring great convenience to our work,study and life.The video conference application market is broad.At present,the video calling products in the market are varied in variety and form.However,for some enterprises in the internal LAN environment,the cost of deploying a set of their own video conference system is high,and the system has delay lag,unstable connection and other conditions,the effect is not very ideal.In this paper,a video conferencing system based on LAN is designed and developed by using Google open source instant messaging framework WebRTC.The system in view of the current video conferencing adopts H.264 algorithm,based on the predecessors' ideas about the decoding frame segmentation,this paper proposes a division of the I frame optimization algorithm,and put forward a frame layered prediction mode,optimize the current latency issue of video conference system,and puts forward a kind of Mesh + SFU architecture model,Enhanced the stability of the video conference system,so that the conference system to meet the actual use.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.In view of the H.264 coding stream characteristics caused by the video conference system of decoding phase delay problems,based on the improved H.264 frame prediction coding algorithm,each frame is divided into smaller bands,bands for reduce coding unit for smooth decoding image buffer size,and on the basis of units of a stripe,An intra-frame hierarchical prediction method is proposed to reduce the average distance of prediction encoding and the inherent delay of video conference system in encoding and decoding.2.The paper proposes a video conference implementation method based on Mesh+SFU architecture,and determines the threshold of switching architecture through experiments,which not only ensures lower delay and higher clarity,but also enables the system to meet the needs of more clients to participate in video conference,thus improving the stability of the video conference system..3.The paper designes several practical functions including video conference,instant chat,electronic whiteboard,and finally realized the system based on WEBRTC through development.The experimental results show that the function tests of the video conference system in this paper are normal,and the expected results are achieved.Compared with the traditional H.264 coding algorithm,the delay can be reduced by about 100 ? 140 ms,and the smooth video conference application can be realized.
