In recent years, smart phones have been increasingly used as terminal devices for information anti-counterfeiting and identification. When using a smartphone to read the printed halftone image, there is geometric distortion due to light, angle, etc. This will affect the accuracy of anti-counterfeiting information.Traditional reading methods generally correct halftone images before reading. The correction process requires a lot of process, and the image taken under complex external conditions will lose part of the information. This need high resolution halftone image or image restoration. In response to the above problems, this thesis proposes an algorithm for reading printed quantum dot information without correction.First, the halftone image is preprocessed, and the best decision threshold method is used to identify the printed quantum dots. Then, based on the spatial structure characteristics of the printed quantum dots, find the specific spatial positional relationship between them.Mathematical modeling is used to quantify the unit distance of the grid.In the case of non-correction,extract the image microstructure information, and read the hidden anti-counterfeiting information.Experiments show that the microstructure information of halftone images can be effectively read without correction. This technology can be applied in areas such as trademark anti-counterfeiting and copyright protection.
