With the development of technology,a variety of cyber-attacks have emerged,which seriously threaten the optical network.Thus,the security issues of optical network is becoming increasingly prominent.Because optical firewall can detect optical signal directly in the optical layer,it can avoid complex optical-electrical-optical conversion,which greatly reduces the time delay and energy consumption.As a result,optical firewall can effectively protect the optical network security.As the key technology of optical fir-ewall,sequence matching technology largely determines the processing efficiency of optical firewall.Therefore,this paper will focus on the key issues of "how to improve the matching efficiency of sequence matching technology applied in optical firewall".The research work and innovation mainly include the following three aspects:Firstly,a push-pull SOA-MZI based sequence matching system is simulated and successfully matches a set of target pattern in different length in 128-bits data sequence at 10Gb/s and 40Gb/s.The system only uses an XOR gate,an AND gate and a regenerator to recognize and locate the target pattern in data sequence.Secondly,considering the shortcomings of the push-pull SOA-MZI based sequence matching system in processing long continuous optical signals,a real-time sequence-cutting sequence matching system is proposed.Along with the matching process,as the position of the target pattern in the data sequence is gradually clear,the system will cut the data sequence in real time,so the length of the data sequence and the target sequence will be reduced.As a result,the system will greatly improve the matching efficiency.Thirdly,a parallel-processing sequence matching system is proposed.This system does not need to loop,but only perform exclusive or operation once.Besides,by adopting parallel matching method,the matching efficiency is effectively improved.The system is simulated and the simulation results shows that the system can successfully recognize and locate up to 8-bits target sequences in 128-bits data sequences at 10Gb/s and 40Gb/s.
