The Load Frequency Control system(LFC)requires high real-time data collection,data acquisition equipment generally does not use complex encryption technology to encrypt data,so these devices are very vulnerable to attack.In addition,the LFC system uses high-speed,two-way,real-time,and integrated open network communication technology to ensure that the data stream is transmitted to the control center at high speed,which increasing the risk of data stream being intercepted,monitored,and tampered with.Attackers can take advantage of these hidden dangers of the LFC system and use various network attack methods to implement network attacks on the LFC system,the attack will seriously affect the normal operation of the LFC system and even the entire power system.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the cyber attack and defense methods on LFC systems.The paper focuses on Denial of Service(DoS)attacks and False Data Injection(FDI)Attacks against LFC systems and the corresponding defense methods.The specific contents are as follows:(1)By studying the model and mechanism of the LFC system,the paper presents a cyber-physical model for calculating the frequency of power systems.Based on the proposed model,we can use the idea of data prediction to calculate the lost frequency,which can resist the DoS attack on LFC system.In addition,by improving the attention mechanism,a data prediction model based on the attention mechanism was established and applied to the cyber-physical model to accurately calculate the loss frequency.(2).By analyzing and modeling the load frequency control system,the paper presents a FDI attack model for LFC systems.Using this model,attack vectors that can avoid bad data detection systems can be generated and a FDI attack can be successfully implemented.(3)A cyber-physical model is proposed,based on the model,we can use historical data to calculate control signals of the system.Finally,the paper proposed a methods for detecting and defending against FDI attacks based on Generative Adversarial Networks(GAN)and the cyber-physical models.Through training the GAN,we get a pair of detector and generator,we use the detector to discriminate the collected data,and detect FDI attacks.When the attacks is detected,we use the data generated by the generator to replace the false data and defend against the FDI attacks.
