Urban agglomeration is an objective product of a country or region's economic and social development after entering a high stage.It is not only an inevitable stage accompanying the development of China's new industrialization and urbanization,but also a general trend of world and regional development today.With the rapid development of urbanization in China,China's urban agglomeration has become the focus of extensive attention in academic circles and planning circles at home and abroad.Its internal help to promote regional integration and industrial interaction,improve the organizational capacity and economic strength of urban agglomerations,while its external help to enhance China's global competitiveness.It is an important part of China's participation in the global economy.The purpose of this study is to explore the division of urban agglomerations using geographical location big data,and then compared with the relevant national plans to provide some reference for the research and policy formulation of urban agglomeration.From the perspective of the spatial interaction of car flow under prefecture-level units,the urban traffic network is constructed based on the car flow data in Tencent's big data on population flow.After calculating the network indexes,the relationship between the urban network and economic development is explored by using factor analysis and regression analysis methods to prove the rationality of using car flow data to divide urban agglomeration.On this basis,GN algorithm is adopted to cluster the city network,and the division results are described.The division results are compared with the urban agglomerations in the 13 th Five-Year Plan at the overall level(all urban clusters)and local level(Jing,Jin,Ji,Meng,Jin urban cluster)to find the difference between the two to reflect the unique perspective of geographic big data for urban agglomeration planning.The results show that,compared with the traditional urban agglomeration,the results of urban agglomeration division based on geographical location big data can better reflect the spatial connection between cities.The massive,real-time,dynamic and accurate characteristics of geographic big data can supplement traditional urban agglomeration research and provide quantitative,computable and interpretable decision support for government decision-making and urban agglomeration planning.In addition,efficient road traffic system layout and scientific and reasonable planning play an important role in the development of urban agglomeration.Reasonable planning of urban agglomeration plays an important role in regional development,which should be adjusted over time.Finally,urban agglomeration planning and development should consider more urban geography and natural economic evolution.
