In the military field,the research and design of integrated radar communication systems become more and more important.The phased array antenna,high-order digital modulation and radar pulse waveform is analyzed.The new integrated radar communication system architecture based on simultaneous multi-beam phased array antenna is proposed.And solve two key issues involved.The first one is simultaneous digital multi-beam forming technology.The second one is integrated radar communication signal design.The research results can solve the current compatibility problem between radar and communication system,and provide technical support for the realization of integrated radar communication engineering.The main content includes the following three parts:(1)The basic model of radar system and communication system is established.Analyze the indexes and parameters about radar and communication system.A new architecture of integrated radar communication system based on digital simultaneous multi-beam and duplexer is proposed.The integrated system can solve the contradiction between radar time-sharing work and communication simultaneous work.Firstly,the new architecture is theoretically studied from the perspectives of radar,communication and the entire system.The theoretical analysis results show that: good radar detection performance and communication bit error rate performance can be obtained through reasonable parameter design.Then,the corresponding Matlab simulation analysis and verification is performed about the new system architecture.The simulation results are same as the theoretical results,which proves that the new system can comply the requirements of the integrated radar communication system.(2)The principle of the digital phased array antenna is studied,the digital simultaneous multi-beam technology is studied,the digital simultaneous multi-beam technology with post filter is proposed,and its performance is analyzed and simulated.Theoretical research and computer simulation analysis show that the post-filtering digital multi-beam technology has the same directional pattern performance as the traditional digital multi-beam technology.The digital simultaneous multi-beam technology after the filter can save resources and reduce complexity.As the size of the array element gradually increases,the advantages of the post-filtering structure digital multi-beam algorithm are more obvious.(3)16QAM-LFM waveform integrated design technology is researched.Firstly,a mathematical model of the 16QAM-LFM integrated waveform is established based on the 16 QAM signal and the LFM signal.The performance analysis and computer simulation for the 16QAM-LFM waveform show that the new waveform has the same bit error rate as the classic 16 QAM signal and larger spectrum efficiency compared with the integrated waveforms such as BPSK-LFM and MSK-LFM.Furthermore,the computational complexity of 16QAM-LFM is less than the existing OFDM-LFM waveform.On the other hand,16QAM-LFM has higher distance resolution and speed resolution than the traditional LFM pulse signal since its ambiguity function looks like a thumb tack.And the detection probability of radar is similar as traditional LFM pulse signal for the slowly moving object. |
