Nowadays,with the increasing demand for access to the Internet,wireless local area networks(WLANs)that can provide mobile and convenient access to the Internet are becoming more and more popular.Transmission control(TCP)protocol was originally designed for wired transmission environment,but the characteristics of WLANs with high bit error rate and error burst are very different from wired network,which causes that the performance of the WLAN system with TCP protocol is not satisfactory.Therefore,how to optimize the performance of the TCP service in the WLANs is of great significance to promote the progress and development of the WLAN.In this paper,the problems and influencing factors of abnormal TCP performance in WLAN were deeply analyzed.Taking the home network as a background,from the perspective of improving the impact of air interface packet loss on TCP performance,a home network TCP performance optimization system solution was proposed and a home network uplink TCP performance optimization system was implemented.Finally,combining Wi-Fi 5 multi-user scheduling characteristics and the coupling relationship between uplink and downlink message timing,multi-user uplink TCP service optimal scheduling design based on Wi-Fi 5 was proposed.The main work and achievements are as follows:(1)Aiming at the problem of home network TCP performance optimization,a solution to improve the service quality of the home network system was proposed from the perspective of uplink and downlink TCP services.And then key modules of the home network TCP performance optimization system was built up,including business model,uplink TCP business acceleration and downlink TCP business acceleration.(2)The data structure and implementation process of business model and uplink TCP service acceleration are analyzed,and then a home network uplink performance optimization system is implemented.The performance of the home network uplink performance optimization system was tested by Iperf 3.0 test tool.Among them,the business model provides an information foundation for uplink TCP service acceleration.The uplink TCP business acceleration module implements uplink adaptive proxy confirmation,rapid triggering of uplink retransmission,and uplink proxy retransmission processing.(3)The problem of multi-user uplink TCP service scheduling in Wi-Fi 5 was analyzed,and then a multi-user uplink TCP service optimal scheduling design based on Wi-Fi 5 was proposed,considering optimizing scheduling strategy objectives,Wi-Fi 5 service scheduling characteristics,and timing coupling relationship between upstream and downstream packets.The optimization strategy realizes the control of the number of users sending uplink messages in the same time period,and completes the goals of reducing uplink channel conflicts and improving system service quality.Finally,MATLAB simulation is used to verify the performance analysis of the optimization strategy design.In this paper,the design of the home network TCP performance optimization system provides technical support for the project "Optimization of TCP service performance for home network AP".
