With the rapid development of wireless and mobile communication industries and the advent of the 5G era,the RF front-end should meet the requirements of miniaturization and multi-function.The filter and antenna originally existed as two independent components.In recent years,due to the needs of communication systems for smaller and higher integration,the integrated design and research of the two have been increasing.At this stage,the design schemes of filter antennas are mainly divided into two categories,one is the joint design scheme of the filter and the antenna,and the other is the filter and fusion design scheme.The former is mainly based on the design of the filter,and the antenna and the filter are directly cascaded or used as the last stage of the filter;the latter is mainly based on the design of the antenna,and the filtering response is introduced on the antenna in different ways.The work of this article is as follows:1.A design scheme based on the half-mode SIW high-order mode to realize the filtering response of the antenna is proposed.This solution uses the periodic distribution characteristics of the antenna surface current in the high-order mode to generate a filtering response.At the same time,the metal through-holes and slots are loaded to achieve the mode Redistribution and adjustment of far-field current radiation characteristics,and using this scheme,three filter antennas are designed respectively:1)Based on the TM1,5/2,and TM3,1/2 half-mode SIW filter antennas.The thickness of the filter antenna is 0.011 ?0(the wavelength in free space).It operates at 6.4 GHz,and the H-plane cross polarization is less than-50 dB,the gain in the passband is always greater than 6 dBi.2)The half-mode SIW filter antennas based on TM1,3/2,TM1,5/2,and TM3,1/2 modes.The thickness of the filter antenna is 0.0087 ?0(the wavelength in free space)and it operates at 5.1GHz-5.23GHz,the stopband gain of the upper and lower sideband antennas is always less than-20 dB.The radiation gain in the passband is 6.79dBi,and the H-plane cross polarization is less than-30dB.
