Wireless sensor network(Wireless Sensor Network,WSN)is the current research hotspot which is widely used in various monitoring fields.Security issues are an important issue that cannot be ignored in wireless sensor networks.Among them, cloning attacks is a kind of attack method with strong concealment and destructive characteristics that affects network security. The distributed cloning detection protocol based on random walk can effectively improve the detection rate of clone attacks, but those methods does not consider the repeated selection of witness nodes on different paths, resulting in additional communication, storage overhead and redundant walk steps. In response to the above problems, this paper proposes a coloring random walk detection(CRWD)method. In this method, the optimal step size of the walk is determined by the Random Walk Mobility to reduce the step redundancy. In the stage of constructing the witness path, while the random walk starts, the nodes that have passed through the path are colored to avoid being repeatedly selected as a witness node, which reduces communication, storage overhead and extends the network life cycle. This paper simulated CRWD through MATLAB simulation platform.Compared with the existing distributed cloning detection protocol based on the random walk, extensive experiments verify that CRWD can save the communication, storage overhead and extend the network life while ensuring the detection rate.
