In the context of the continued rapid development of mobile communication technology,the bandwidth of the communication frequency band has been continuously expanded,which places higher technical requirements on the design of antennas for mobile communication systems.The dual-polarized antenna adopting polarization diversity technology can not only improve the multipath fading problem of the system,but also make full use of spectrum resources to achieve compatibility of various mobile communication networks,so it is widely used in modern mobile communication base station systems.This article focuses on the research of broadband dual-polarized base station antennas that can cover multiple communication bands.The specific research contents are as follows:Firstly,in view of the compatibility problem between the newly proposed IMT frequency band and the original frequency band,a miniaturized broadband base station antenna unit that can cover the IMT/2G/3G/4G frequency band is designed.By introducing a non-uniform coupling cut angle on the crossed dipole,the overall impedance bandwidth of the antenna is improved,and the metal droop column is loaded at the end of the dipole,which not only can widen the impedance bandwidth at low frequencies,but also does not increase the lateral aperture of the antenna,which is quite In order to achieve miniaturization.The actual measurement shows that the antenna unit can achieve an impedance bandwidth of 69.7%(1.4-2.9 GHz,VSWR<1.5),can cover multiple communication frequency bands and has the advantage of miniaturization,and has a good and stable radiation pattern in the working frequency band.Secondly,based on the design of the unit,the antenna is formed into an 8-unit linear array.By designing the feed network and selecting the proper array element spacing,the array antenna obtains a high gain and stable pattern.A one-eight power divider is designed as the antenna feed network,and the appropriate array element spacing is selected through simulation analysis,so that the array antenna obtains a high gain and stable pattern.The measured gain of the antenna reaches 13.3-17.2 d Bi,the half-power beam width is 54-76°,has good circuit parameters and radiation parameters,and can be applied to base station antennas in the IMT/2G/3G/4G frequency band.And thanks to the miniaturized design of the antenna unit,the array antenna also has the advantage of miniaturization and has important practical value.Finally,a broadband dual-polarized base station antenna that can cover LTE / 5G is proposed.The antenna adopts Y-shaped microstrip line coupling feed,and the microstrip line is provided with a two-stage matching structure,which can effectively improve the impedance matching of the antenna.The final antenna works at 2 GHz-4.1 GHz and can cover the LTE(2.17 GHz-2.69 GHz)and 5G(2515-2675 MHz,3300-3800 MHz)frequency bands,the in-band isolation is greater than 25 d B,and has a stable gain and good Directional charts and indicators meet the requirements of base station antennas and are suitable for future 5G base station construction.
