In recent years,with 5G telecommunications,mobile,Internet of things,the rapid development of emerging industries such as satellite broadcasting,electronic devices will gradually tend to be miniaturization,micromation and even ultra miniaturization,high to medium,low loss,small temperature coefficient of microwave materials demand is more and more big,the performance of a smaller,more superior to the development of microwave dielectric constant power.Therefore,the research and detection of microwave materials has become a hot topic.Due to the size,shape,material parameters of microwave materials,microwave materials main measuring method of transmission line method,resonance method and perturbation method.Transmission line method is the test frequency range is wider than,but for the complex dielectric constant of low loss microwave materials measurement error is bigger,the test sensitivity is low.The resonance method has a high sensitivity to measure the complex dielectric constant of low-loss microwave materials,but it is only applicable to the point frequency test and the test frequency band is narrow.The perturbation method is also sensitive to the measurement of low loss materials,but the error increases with the increase of perturbation.The microwave materials studied in this paper are mainly low-consumption,so the resonance method and perturbation method are mainly studied.In this paper,a simple,accurate and applicable measurement technique is developed to measure the complex dielectric constants of microwave ceramics and microwave nanometer thin films in rectangular and cylindrical resonators.Through improvements on the rectangular cavity,can not only measuring the complex dielectric constant of pure dielectric materials(dielectric constant and dielectric loss factor),pure complex permeability of magnetic dielectric materials(magnetic permeability and magnetic loss coefficient),and the complex dielectric constant of the dielectric and magnetic medium mixed material(dielectric permittivity,dielectric loss factor,magnetic permeability and magnetic loss coefficient)of the multifunctional rectangular cavity,and has a cavity multimode works,but also according to different perturbation quantity and parameters of microwave materials to choose the appropriate working mode.Based on VEE virtual software,a complete set of multi-function automatic measurement system for rectangular cavity is developed.The cylindrical cavity developed in this paper can quickly measure low-loss microwave materials,the cavity has a full thread from the top to the bottom plate and the upper panel can rotate up and down,the purpose of its rotation is to rotate microwave materials of different heights to the center,which is conducive to coupling ring excitation.The cylindrical cavity measurement system is small in size,fully enclosed and radiation-free,and the measuring microwave material is non-contact detection placed on a low dielectric and low loss ptfe gasket.
