UNIX Operating System as a commercialized key operating system,is widely used in many large traditional enterprises core application system environments.UNIX vendors' products are usually tightly integrated by operating systems and hardware.With the development of information technology,the stability of server operation is becoming more and more important.To ensure the continuous operation of server hardware and operating system requires a powerful monitoring capability.It is necessary to establish a complete server monitoring system.This paper proposes an open source solution Zabbix to monitor and maintain Solaris system in UNIX hardware server.Designing and developing a set of Solaris server hardware and system monitoring scheme has standardized and intelligent significance for monitoring and maintenance work.The topic introduces the current situation and background of server monitoring system,and points out the necessity of constructing this monitoring system and the problems to be solved.Introduces the content of Solaris corresponding server product monitoring,the key components of the equipment and the monitoring objects and nodes.A Zabbix-based Solaris monitoring system achieve unified management and monitoring.At the same time,the system architecture of Zabbix is explained,and the running process of several core modules of Zabbix is introduced.This paper illustrated the overall structure of the monitoring systemed and introduces Detailed system design and development based on ZABBIX application.Finally,the testing proves the usefulness and advantages of the server monitoring system based on Solaris platform and the results of this paper have good application value.
