Study On The Current Situation And Promotion Strategies Of Political Identity Of Science And Technology University Students

Political identity is a key component of focus and research in many disciplines and fields,and is closely related to ideological work.The issue of political identity is directly related to the political attitudes and behaviors of citizens,and plays a crucial role in maintaining national security and social stability.The world today is undergoing a great change unprecedented in a century,the international and domestic situation we are facing is becoming more and more complicated and changeable,and the struggle in the ideological field is becoming more and more severe and intense.University students are the most active and potential members of society,and there is a special group of university students,i.e.science and technology university students.The complexity of the internal and external situation and the specificity of the professional background put forward higher requirements for the science and technology university students,who should have strong political quality while mastering the professional skills.However,the political literacy and political ability of science and technology university students are still insufficient,and they are in the period when their political psychology and political consciousness are not yet mature,relatively lacking certain social experience and rich social experience,and most of them have not formed stable political values,so their political identity is more vulnerable to influence and impact.Therefore,we need to focus on the current situation and promotion strategies of political identity of science and technology university students.In the process of questionnaire survey and data analysis,the current situation of political identity of science and technology university students is shown through seven aspects: political values,national identity,political system identity,current affairs and policy identity,political intention,political participation and political growth needs,which shows a good overall trend,but there are also many problems due to the influence of subjective and objective factors.The main problems are that some science and technology university students' political cognition is relatively insufficient,political emotion needs to be improved,political will is not firm enough,and political behavior needs to be strengthened.The factors influencing of the political identity of science and technology university students include the great impact of multiple values in the social transition period,the negative effect of mass communication media in the information era,the ideological and political education in universitys to be continuously optimized,and the complex conditions of students' psychological development characteristics.In view of the problems and influencing factors of the political identity of science and technology university students,the specific promotion strategies of political identity of science and technology university students are to always play the leading role of mainstream ideology,make full use of the unique advantages of mass media,accelerate the improvement of ideological and political education work in universitys,and insist on guiding students to fully educate themselves,in order to improve political literacy and political ability and further enhance the political identity of science and technology university students.
