Nowadays,with the rapid development of computer,big data,Internet of Things,artificial intelligence and other information technologies and the digital transformation of traditional industries,the amount of new data shows a geometric growth pattern.Therefore,the study of probability and statistics based on data processing and analysis is particularly important.Probability and statistics is an important branch of mathematics,which mainly studies the occurrence,development and change of random phenomena.It is well known that people's understanding of things is not absolute,but contains the characteristics and characteristics of statistical regularity.Through the study of probability and statistics,people can improve their analytical ability and more accurate judgment ability of the development and change of things,which is of great benefit to the sound thinking.From the practical application point of view,you can also master the application of some statistical analysis software.The learning results of probability and statistics knowledge are reflected in a subtle way,which plays a very good role in promoting the cognitive development of students.In fact,for most of us ordinary people,it is mainly based on thinking training.This paper mainly studies the effect of probability and statistics knowledge on students' cognitive development in high school,in order to improve teachers' teaching methods and scientifically train students' probability and statistics knowledge literacy.In combination with the requirements of the curriculum standard,the cognitive needs and reality of high school students,the author selects test questions and tests three classes of senior three students in a school.In combination with the interview results of students after the test,the author analyzes the cognitive level of students in learning this knowledge.The students are faced with a particular problem of cognitive status according to the classification evaluation method for the SOLO classification,which is divided into five levels,respectively is a former structure level(P),single point structure level(U),the structure of the multi-point level(M),the structure of the associated level(R)and abstract structure level(E),These five levels are from low to high,and only when you reach the low level first can you continue to reach the high level.Through the research,it is found that high school students have strong ability to take exams,that is,most students can meet the requirements of knowledge and skills in the curriculum standard;Weak application ability,that is,only a few students can meet the requirements of the curriculum standards in knowledge and skills,process methods,emotional attitudes and other aspects;High school students cognitive development imbalance,that is,there are few students cannot achieve curriculum at the request of the knowledge and skills,as well as a handful of intellectual skills,processes,methods,emotional attitude control curriculum standards that are higher than in the problem solving process,reflects the statistical probability knowledge for the promotion of cognitive function.Based on the above analysis,the author puts forward some suggestions on the compilation of teaching materials and teaching of probability and statistics knowledge.That is,the compilation of teaching materials should originate from real life,be applied to real life,attach importance to the application of statistical charts and statistical tables,and attach importance to the application of modern information technology.In teaching,teachers should highlight the application of probability and statistics knowledge,pay attention to students' experience of learning probability and statistics,pay attention to the connection of probability and statistics knowledge between junior and senior high schools,encourage students to cooperate with each other,exchange and explore,pay attention to the cultivation of statistical ability,try to carry out mathematics experimental classes,pay attention to the relevance of subject knowledge,etc...
