High school chemistry curriculum standard advocates "quality-oriented" teaching,with the development of students' core quality of chemistry as the main purpose,and constructs an evaluation system based on the core quality of chemistry.The content of "organic compounds" is diverse,complex,strange and abstract,which greatly affects students' interest and effect in learning organic chemistry."5E" teaching mode is an inquiry teaching mode guided by constructivism.It consists of five links: engagement,exploration,explanation,elaboration and evaluation.The links are clear and operable.Applying the "5E" teaching mode to the teaching of "organic compounds" will enable students to gradually understand organic chemistry knowledge in independent inquiry,generate interest in organic chemistry learning in diversified evaluation,improve the teaching effect of "organic compounds",help to conform to the teaching concept of "quality-oriented",implement the integration of "teaching,learning and evaluation",and meet the requirements of curriculum standards.Through the methods of literature analysis,experimental research,questionnaire and interview,based on constructivist learning theory,Skinner reinforcement theory and self-efficacy theory,this paper studies the implementation suggestions and teaching design of the "5E" teaching model,and takes the first class of "recognizing organic compounds" and "ethanol and acetic acid" as examples,Then,four classes were randomly selected in two schools,and the teaching practice was studied by controlling variable method.The final practical results show that the application of "5E" teaching mode in "organic compounds" can help stimulate students' interest in learning organic chemistry,improve students' sense of self-efficacy and academic achievement,and implement students' core literacy of chemistry.
