With the development of the new era,the Chinese curriculum reform pays more attention to the formation and development of students' core literacy.Junior high school is a critical period for cultivating students' Chinese reading literacy,and reading teaching is the main area to achieve core literacy.This requires junior high school Chinese teachers to change.Reading teaching methods to cultivate students' reading ability.In particular,under the promulgation of the "Double Reduction" policy in 2021,higher requirements for teachers' classroom teaching efficiency are put forward.The introduction of mind maps into Chinese classrooms can help teachers improve teaching efficiency,and the assignment of Chinese mind maps is a manifestation of the implementation of the "double reduction" policy.As a tool for visualizing thinking,mind map has the characteristics of equal emphasis on pictures and text,clear layers,and divergence.The application of mind map in junior high school Chinese reading teaching can help students sort out the context of the text,carry out in-depth learning,and cultivate logical thinking and divergent thinking,integrate thinking,improve the quality of thinking,and promote the formation of the core literacy of Chinese subjects.Based on this,the application of mind mapping in junior high school Chinese reading teaching has unique advantages.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this thesis is mainly divided into three parts: The first part expounds the unique value of the application of mind map in Chinese reading teaching.The second part organizes and analyzes the data and information of the questionnaires of students and teachers,and concludes that in the middle school Chinese reading teaching,mind mapping is a mere formality,lacking systematic guidance,one-sided application,ignoring thinking training and single type,and neglecting the application of multiple evaluations.The third part puts forward the application strategy of mind map in Chinese reading teaching in junior high school from three aspects: strengthening guidance,mastering drawing methods,flexible application,emphasizing thinking development,communicating feedback,and enriching evaluation methods according to the application status quo.
