As a product of the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization, urban villages have attracted a large number of migrants to live in them by virtue of their low rent and proximity.Different from traditional communities, the age structure and occupation structure of migrant population in urban village communities are greatly different. While seeing the convenience provided by urban villages for people, the prominent social problems in the communities deserve more attention.Due to the lack of capital and network, migrants often find it difficult to integrate into urban village communities. There are a large number of villages in Guangzhou, and the management and service of migrant population at the grass-roots level are facing great challenges and opportunities.Based on Bourdieu's field theory, the research paradigm of Grounded theory was used to systematically observe and record the places of interaction between different groups in the field. In addition, theoretical sampling was adopted to conduct in-depth interviews with 40 interviewees and collect original data.In this way,we can understand the current situation and internal motivation of migrant population integration, explore how various factors affect migrant population integration, and make the establishment and implementation of the system more directional. To provide a comfortable living environment for the migrant population in urban villages and promote the integration of migrant population into urban village communities provides theoretical reference.Through the field investigation of a village in Guangzhou,it is found that the integration degree of migrants in the village is low,and there is a phenomenon of integration difficulty. The research conducted theoretical sampling and in-depth interviews on different populations in the villages of the city, and conducted open coding, spindle coding and selective coding on the collected data according to the research method of the rooted theory,so as to understand the reasons and mechanisms affecting the low integration degree and difficulty of the migrant population in the villages of the city. The results show that identity construction, social interaction and social stratification are the main factors that cause the low integration degree of migrants in urban village communities.Under the interaction and joint influence of these three factors,it is difficult for migrants to integrate into urban village communities. In view of the current situation, reasons and mechanism of migrant population integration in urban villages, the study believes that there are three countermeasures to solve the problem.First,to foster multiculturalism and enhance social identity;Second, promote community participation and social interaction;Third, improve institutional formulation and break barriers to integration.
