"Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition)" takes "problem solving" as one of the overall goals of mathematics curriculum,requiring that students' ability to solve mathematical problems be trained.In recent years,with the deepening of education research,people are more and more attention to the cultivation of students' ability to solve mathematical problems,as the core mathematics literacy elements,and as one of the important tasks of mathematics education,and primary school is to cultivate students' ability to solve mathematical problems stage,therefore,fully excavate and in-depth study in various fields for primary school mathematics knowledge,It can help teachers improve teaching,and then better cultivate students' problem-solving ability.This study mainly focuses on the cultivation of primary and middle school students' problem solving ability in the "measurement" module of graphics and geometry.Firstly,questionnaire and interview are used to investigate the current situation of the problem solving ability cultivation in the geometry "measurement" module of primary school,analyze the problems and reasons of the problem solving ability cultivation of middle school students in this module,and further put forward suggestions for improvement.This study mainly adopts literature method,classroom observation method,questionnaire method and interview method.First of all,through reading the literature,the relevant research on problem solving ability training and geometry "measurement" module is sorted out.Secondly,through the observation of the classroom teaching of geometry "measurement" module by front-line teachers,as well as the investigation of questionnaire and interview method,this paper analyzes the existing problems and causes of the problem solving ability training of primary and secondary school students in the content of geometry "measurement" module.After investigation,there are still some problems in the cultivation of students' problem solving ability in geometry "measurement" module in primary school: 1.Students' initiative to find and raise problems is poor;2.Weak analytical ability of geometric "measurement" module;3.The problem of geometric "measurement" module has a single method to solve the problem;4.Inadequate cultivation of the inspection and reflection habit of middle school students in solving the problem of geometric "measurement" module;5.Middle school students have strong dependence on teachers in solving problems of geometric "measurement" module.The author thinks that the reasons for the above problems are as follows:1.The knowledge of geometric "measurement" module is not firmly mastered and the knowledge structure is not systematically constructed;2.Lack of analysis method of geometric "measurement" module;3.Geometry "measurement" module problem solving focuses on results rather than process;4.The cultivation of the habit of examination and reflection in geometric "measurement" module is weak;5.Inadequate teaching by teachers.According to the problems and causes of the problem solving ability training of geometry "measurement" module,and combined with the observation of the author in the classroom teaching,the author puts forward the following suggestions for improvement: to create a good problem situation to promote the development of students' problem solving ability;Find the connection between the old and new knowledge,systematically build the knowledge experience structure;Geometry "measurement" module learning pays attention to the persistent development of evaluation reflective ability;Improve teachers' teaching methods and pay attention to the cultivation of students' problem-solving ability.
