"Chapter topic page" plays an important role in optimizing students' knowledge structure,stimulating students' interest in learning,cultivating students' application consciousness,carrying out moral education,and infiltrating mathematical ideas and methods.Since 1989,the "People's Education edition" junior high school mathematics textbook has a "chapter topic page".With the continuous update of the textbook,the content setting of the "chapter topic page" is also changing.This paper selects five sets of three-year junior high school mathematics textbooks from 1989 to 2013,with the content setting of "chapter topic page" as the research object.It is divided into three modules: "number and algebra","graphics and geometry" and "statistics and probability",using literature research,comparative research,case analysis and other research methods.The "chapter topic page" of each module is studied from three perspectives:(1)the mathematical history content as the topic page;(2)the mathematical and physical problems as the topic page;and(3)the practical problems in life as the topic page.Through data statistics and comparative research,the content setting characteristics and change reasons of the three modules "chapter topic page" are analyzed.Changes of "chapter topic page" of "number and bra" module:(1)the learning objectives and methods of this chapter;(2)strengthen the transition connection and highlight the logic of knowledge;(3)gradually pay attention to cultivating students' independent thinking ability;(4)pay attention to the penetration of the combination of number and shape;(5)the problem situation is more complex and difficult;(6)"chapter topic page" gradually provide materials for subsequent study.Characteristics of "graphics and geometry" module "chapter topic page" content:(1)pay more and more attention to the realistic background of geometry knowledge;(2)increase of inquiry problems,cultivate reasoning ability;(3)problems gradually stratified,reflect flexibility;(4)combine moral education in it.Characteristics of the content changes of the "statistics and probability" module "chapter topic page" :(1)the presentation type is single;(2)the realistic background keeps pace with The Times and pays attention to the application;(3)the arrangement gradually reflects the rationality;(4)emphasizes the mathematical rigor;(5)the problem situation becomes more and more guiding.Based on the content of 5 sets of textbooks "chapter topic page",the following suggestions for the preparation of the textbook:(1)"chapter topic page" into the mathematical historical materials of this chapter;(2)"chapter topic page" should reflect the correlation between mathematics and other subjects;(3)"chapter topic page" to create opportunities for students to discover mathematics in life;(4)each chapter;(5)add explicit moral education materials.The teaching suggestions for front-line teachers are:(1)integrate into all teaching links;(2)pay attention to comprehensive literacy education;(3)teach students to read the "chapter topic page".
