| Under the "double reduction" policy,preschool children’s education and teaching are reduced to primary school,which makes some parents who attach importance to the development of children’s oral English ability pay more attention to the English learning environment in kindergartens.In large and medium-sized cities in China,bilingual education is a major feature of kindergarten education.Although kindergartens do not advocate teaching children’s English learning at present,many parents still attach importance to the cultivation of children’s English listening and speaking ability.In the actual kindergarten English game activities,teachers can improve children’s English level by designing English content into the game activities and practicing English dialogue with children.However,in the process of classroom implementation,there will still be problems of unsatisfactory teaching quality or effect.In this paper,from the perspective of kindergarten English game activities,we will explore the classroom game activity design of kindergarten English game activities in immersive environment by studying and cooperating teachers,and carry out classroom implementation for17 children in an international kindergarten target class in Dalian according to the game design.We will observe children’s performance in class,participation in class,children’s oral English output and so on,and find out the problems.By reflecting and summarizing the observed classroom effect,we will ask questions and make corresponding improvements,so as to further understand and strengthen kindergarten children’s English teaching effect.The collected materials include classroom photos,classroom records,and interviews with cooperative teachers.Take this as a circular study and conduct three rounds of action research.Through in-depth analysis of the effects of game activities in the immersive environment on children’s English output learning,this paper summarizes and reflects on the problems that teachers should pay attention to when designing and implementing kindergarten English game activities in the immersive environment.Combined with practical cases,the author finds out the existing problems and shortcomings,and puts forward his own ideas and suggestions.This study focuses on classroom observation,combined with interview,to do action research on the design and implementation of kindergarten English game activities in immersive environment.Through reflection and summary of classroom observation,we can improve kindergarten English game activities and provide help and support for kindergarten English teachers’ game activities design.The results show that animation and objects can attract children’s attention in the classroom,and they are easier to participate in the classroom,which is helpful to improve children’s output in the process of game activities.Large-scale activities can arouse children’s enthusiasm and speak enthusiastically.In addition,teachers should pay attention to the creation of immersive environment,the elaboration of game rules,children’s participation in the game and output when designing English game activities in immersive environment.When designing game activities,we can add related animations according to the content,provide physical display for children,and design large-scale game activities to help children better integrate into the classroom. |
