| Integrate the History of Science,Philosophy of Science and Sociology of Science(HPS)into science education is one of the important trends of thought in the international science education reform.With the development of science and technology of the times,science and education center of gravity has gradually shifted from imparting scientific knowledge to the nature of scientific understanding,how to promote students’ understanding of nature of science has become a hot issue of international science education reform,HPS into science education is one of effective way to promote students to understand the nature of science,it reflects the new idea of international science education reform.In China,Physics Curriculum Standards for General Senior High School(2017Edition)clearly put forward "understanding the nature of science" in the curriculum objectives.The physics textbooks compiled according to the new curriculum standards have been adjusted in content,but most teachers are at a loss about how to integrate HPS content into physics teaching effectively.Therefore,this paper focuses on the core issue of "how to effectively integrate HPS content into high school physics teaching to promote students’ understanding of the nature of science".On the basis of reviewing domestic and foreign literature and sorting out theories,this study mainly uses content analysis method and interview survey method to make the following four aspects of thinking:First,the representative figures of HPS education theory abroad and their main thoughts are summarized,including Mach’s view of the nature of science,Sutton’s new humanism education view of the history of science,Kuhn’s historical philosophy of science,and the constructivism of scientific society thought of Edinburgh School.Second,based on the perspective of HPS education theory,this paper makes a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the Physics Curriculum Standards for General High School(2017 Edition),and finds that the curriculum standards contain rich HPS education ideas.The content and requirements of HPS are included in the curriculum concept,curriculum objectives,curriculum contents and academic quality standards,and the curriculum objectives of the nature of science are clearly proposed.However,the content of the history of science in HPS education is relatively less involved in the curriculum contents,and the connotation of the nature of science is not clear enough.Third,analyses the HPS education resources of high school physics stage,it mainly include three existing forms: textbook content,HPS subject content and activity of science and technology,and takes "Physics of General High School Textbook" published by PEP as the research object,and makes three textbooks of the required module quantitative and qualitative analysis,found that the teaching material of the uneven distribution of HPS categories,part of categories content involves less,it unfavorable to the student to the understanding of the content of this part,the teacher need to supplement relevant content,it can comes from HPS disciplines as well as the activities of science and technology.Fourth,analyses two kind of into the concept of HPS education teaching mode,they are Monk and Osborne ’s Integrating Teaching Model and Linda and James’ s Interactive Historical Vignettes Model,and makes the design and analysis to physics Newton’s first law and movement of the planets that two case,and Integrates the previous research and interviews with students and teachers,puts forward the concept of physics teachers how to HPS into high school physics teaching advice: Physics teachers should understand the educational value of HPS;The teaching objectives of HPS should be defined according to the curriculum standards;HPS curriculum resources should be developed through multiple channels;HPS teaching should be carried out with diversified teaching methods;Teaching evaluation should add HPS content reasonably. |
