As an important test in the stage of basic education,chinese embodies the excellent culture of the Chinese nation and highlights the charm of Chinese culture.Every aspect of our daily life cannot be separated from Chinese,and the subject of Chinese occupies a vital position among many subjects.And in the language test,the modern reading part is a very important content.Chinese is one of the main subjects in compulsory education and even in senior high school.The main research object of this paper is the Modern Chinese Reading Test of Wuhan High School Enrollment Examination from 2012 to 2019.Starting from the sorting and analysis of the test paper selection,the score and the detailed rules of the grading,the paper finds out the advantages and disadvantages of the test paper through the sorting and analysis.Then find out the space for improvement,put forward reasonable suggestions to the proposition and teachers teaching,and contribute their own modest efforts.This paper consists of the following parts:First,Introduction.The paper expounds the status of the modern article reading test paper in the middle school examination paper,from the research origin,research significance,research status,research means and other aspects of the Chinese modern article test paper in the middle school examination paper.Second,analyzing the test questions.For Wuhan 2012-2019 reading questions,the author will be from the modern reading questions selection and questions of these two parts of analysis and research.As for the selected articles,statistics and sorting are carried out from the perspectives of style,content,theme,number of words,deletion degree and characteristics.Through statistical analysis,it is found that the selection of modern essay reading questions in Wuhan Middle School Entrance Examination from2012 to 2019 mostly focuses on the observation and thinking of life phenomena,focuses on the examination of students' self-cognition and improvement,and the selection of essays is characterized by strong reasoning and slightly weak narrative.Then from the question type,content,reading ability and scoring criteria of the test,such as statistical analysis.It is found that the modern reading test questions in Wuhan take students as the main body,increase the flexibility of the test questions,avoid routine as far as possible,so as to improve the educational and guiding functions of the test questions.At the same time,Wuhan test questions from 2017 to increase the score of the modern reading test questions,the importance of the modern reading degree further enhanced.About the content of the test,from the explanation,reorganization,extension,evaluation of these several abilities to analyze,found that the test of the students' reading ability is mainly focused on the reorganization and extension of these two abilities.Three,the advantages and disadvantages of the test.Through the above research on the modern essay reading test questions have both advantages and disadvantages.Advantages: reflect the spirit of the new curriculum standard and Wuhan junior high school academic proficiency examination,in line with students' cognitive ability;Selected articles close to life,pay attention to students' emotions,full of education;Question instruction language clear answer direction and scope,"question eye" proper;Grasp the instrumental nature of Chinese Unified with humanity.At the same time,the exam also has some shortcomings: the genre is single,and it does not involve excellent traditional culture;The question type is single and the proportion of open questions is low.The test content examination is unbalanced,the examination that lacks literary to savour ability.Four,Suggestions on teaching of the propositions and teachers.Then combined with the previous research,the thesis puts forward some reasonable suggestions on the teaching of the propositions and teachers,and makes a modest contribution of its own.It is suggested that the author should pay more attention to the examination of open questions and increase the questions to promote students' personalized expression.Enrich the genre and subject matter of the selected articles;The text should be combined with students' reading interests.Suggestions to teachers are as follows:teachers should set up advanced educational ideas;Change the classroom from a "teaching" classroom to a "learning" classroom;Pay attention to text interpretation,cultivate students' good reading habits.
