Study On The Types,Causes And Solving Strategies Of Mathematics Calculation Errors In Primary School ——Take The Fourth Grade "Three-digit Multiplied By Two-digit" As An Example

Primary school is the starting point for the cultivation of mathematical calculation ability.Three-digit multiplication by two-digit is one of the important contents of fourth-grade mathematics learning in the Jiangsu Education Edition,and it is also the last content of teaching integer multiplication,which lays the foundation for the learning of decimal and fraction multiplication.Most teachers tend to pay more attention to whether the calculation results of students are correct when correcting the calculations in the daily homework of the "three-digit by two-digit" unit,and pay less attention to the calculation process of students and the specific reasons for errors,so most teachers It will generally attribute the error of the "three-digit multiplication by two-digit" multiplication calculation to the student's inaccurate calculation or lack of mastery of the algorithm,and will not classify the wrong questions in detail or study the reasons for the wrong questions in depth.Taking the "three-digit multiplication and two-digit" unit in the fourth grade of primary school mathematics as the research content,and taking the fourth grade students of M primary school in Changzhou City as the research object,on this basis,the calculation errors of students are collected,the interviewees are selected and the questionnaire is prepared to study the calculation errors of students.Using the survey method,text analysis method and observation method to study and analyze the types of calculation errors in the"three-digit multiplied by two-digit" unit,and classify them according to different standards,and then analyze the causes of errors from both teachers and students,and put forward effective solutions.Through the investigation and study of error examples,referring to the existing literature and combining with the knowledge structure characteristics of this unit,the calculation errors of three-digit multiplication of two-digit are summarized as three types:knowledge errors,strategic errors and negligence errors.Then according to the types of errors and combined with interviews with teachers and students and questionnaire survey to further find out the causes of errors,the reasons are:the basic knowledge is not solid,the understanding of the algorithm is not thorough,the perception is not accurate,the habit of doing problems,etc.
