The rapid development of information technology has promoted the development of education and teaching,and education informatization has become a hot spot in education area.As a product of the development of information technology,virtual simulation experiments have been widely used in experimental teaching in colleges and universities,but are rarely used in basic education stages.Experiments play an extremely important role in high school biology teaching for they are the basic means for human beings to explore the rules and phenomena of life activities in nature.However,there are certain shortcomings in traditional experimental teaching methods.Based on this,this study uses virtual simulation experiments to assist high school biology experiment teaching to research whether virtual simulation experiment teaching can improve students'experimental capability,interest in biological learning as well as academic performance.Firstly,the literature research method was used to understand the current research status of virtual simulation experiment teaching at home and abroad,and summarized its concept,type and characteristics;Then,the current situation of biology experiment teaching and virtual simulation experiment teaching in high school were investigated,the feasibility of virtual simulation experiment teaching and the shortcomings of traditional experimental teaching methods were analyzed in combination with the actual situation,so as to construct the virtual simulation experiment teaching design framework in a targeted manner;Based on the characteristics of high school biology experiments,the teaching types of virtual simulation experiments were summarized in this paper,which could be divided into three main types of real first and virtual then type,virtual first and real then type,and the virtual expansion type;Based on the teaching type of virtual simulation experiment,the teaching process of virtual simulation experiment of inquiry experiment and demonstration experiment was designed.Finally,through the form of educational experiment,the practical effect of virtual simulation experiment teaching was evaluated.Based on the above practical research,the following research conclusions are drawn:(1)Virtual simulation experiment teaching can help to improve students' experimental capacity;(2)Virtual simulation experiment teaching can help to improve students' interest in biology learning;(3)Virtual simulation experiment teaching can help students understand and master knowledge and improve their academic performance;(4)The virtual simulation experiment teaching is feasible enough to change the traditional experimental teaching concept of teachers and enrich the experimental teaching method.It is hoped that this research can provide a reference for teachers of biology and other disciplines to implement virtual simulation experiment teaching.
