With the development of economic globalization,talents have become the m ain productivity of competition and development in modern society,and innovati on ability is the requirement for talents in the new era.Especially in the informatio n age,there is an increasing demand for innovative talents.As the reserve force o f innovative talents in China,junior high school students are an important part of determining the future development of our country.Cultivating the innovation abi lity of middle school students is both a requirement of the times and an importan t way to enhance students’ core literacy and promote their lifelong development.Talent cultivation,education first,first-class education,in order to cultivate first-c lass talent,in order to build a first-class country.Education integrating the STEAM(Science,Technology,Engineering,Art,Mathematics)concept and adopting an i nterdisciplinary project-based teaching model has become the new direction of e ducation reform in the 21st century,and has received widespread attention both at home and abroad as an effective way to cultivate students’ innovative abilities.This thesis discusses the strategies of how to cultivate junior high school st udents’ innovation ability based on STEAM concept in junior high school physics t eaching from the perspectives of theoretical and practical researches,and combi nes the relevant strategies with the case design and preliminary teaching practice of integrating STEAM concept in the teaching contents of junior high school phy sics using project-based teaching method.This paper mainly applies the literature method,questionnaire survey met hod and case study method.The first two chapters of the paper introduce the ba ckground,current situation,significance and theoretical basis of the study.Chapt ers 3 to 5 are the core part of the thesis.Firstly,a questionnaire was designed ba sed on two broad dimensions of STEAM concept and junior high school physics t o develop innovation ability.The questionnaire results reflect that junior high sch ool students’ attitudes toward integrating STEAM concepts for interdisciplinary p roject-based learning in physics learning are positive.The analysis of the questio nnaire results revealed a significant positive correlation between the factors of cr eative awareness,creative thinking,creative learning practice ability and STEAM concept.Then five teaching strategies were proposed based on the STEAM conce pt,and a project-based teaching case was designed with the relevant strategies f or teaching the five parts of sound,heat,light,force,and electricity in junior high school physics.Finally,preliminary teaching practices were conducted and it was f ound that a project-based learning approach incorporating STEAM concepts con tributes to the enhancement of various aspects of innovation skills in junior high s chool physics teaching.However,due to the limitation of internship time and spac e,the application value of interdisciplinary project-based teaching integrating ST EAM concept for cultivating junior high school students’ innovation ability and im proving junior high school physics teaching effectiveness needs further testing in teaching practice.Relevant pedagogical practices will continue to be explored an d studied in future teaching. |
