The curriculum standards of high school biology in 2017 edition clearly integrate and refine the three-dimensional objectives into the core qualities of biology,including the concept of life,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry and social responsibility.Scientific thinking is not only a common way of thinking in middle school biology classroom teaching,but also an important part of the core quality of biology.The essence of scientific thinking is rational thinking;Combining with the characteristics of biology,we should pay attention to the training of students’ creative thinking,divergent thinking and logical thinking.As a tool to realize thinking visualization,mind map plays a unique role in the cultivation of scientific thinking.By applying mind map to classroom teaching,previewing before class and reviewing after class,this study breaks the traditional and passive thinking habit of students and gradually develops their scientific thinking.The research contents mainly include: 1.The present situation of mind map and scientific thinking at home and abroad is studied by literature analysis method,and the theoretical support and strategic guidance of mind map application in the cultivation of scientific thinking are sought;2.Questionnaire survey was adopted to investigate the status quo of biology learning of all senior two students and the effect of using mind map in experimental class;3.The interview method was adopted to investigate the feasibility of teaching practice of cultivating students’ scientific thinking with the help of mind map in high school biology class;4.Practical research method is adopted to observe whether students’ scientific thinking has been cultivated in class.The control class conducts traditional teaching,while the experimental class conducts teaching with the help of mind map.The results show that the use of mind map in teaching is helpful to focus students’ attention and stimulate students’ interest in learning.The application of mind map in new lesson teaching or after-class review is helpful to guide students to build knowledge network independently.Mindmapping in classroom teaching is beneficial to improve students’ academic performance and the efficiency of biology class.Students draw mind map independently or in groups,which is helpful to cultivate students’ scientific thinking. |
